The mental health crisis among Ontario’s teens has reached unprecedented levels. According to the latest State of Mental Health in Canada report, the Ontario profile reveals a staggering 136% increase in youth mental health, addictions, and substance use (MHASU)-related visits to emergency departments. These numbers reflect a generation in distress, grappling with challenges that extend far beyond what we can see on the surface.
