Sarah is a compassionate and trauma-informed Registered Social Worker with over six years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and faith deconstruction, helping clients process their experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space.
With a strong academic background, Sarah holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University, as well as a Master of Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as cognitive and narrative therapies, to help clients explore their beliefs, heal from past wounds, and move toward personal growth and self-trust.
Sarah has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including addictions and trauma services, as well as virtual and in-person psychotherapy. She is passionate about providing a space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered in their healing journey.
At VOX Mental Health, Sarah is dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with themselves, process their experiences, and build a fulfilling life aligned with their values.
