Jonathan Settembri is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist who has a comprehensive academic background in Human Rights and Equity Studies, Refugee and Migration Studies, and a Master of Social Work with specialized research in generational trauma.

Through his work with the Red Cross, as well as other international organizations, Jonathan brings a unique competency to his work in private practice; utilizing his experiences in Inuit communities in Nunavut, newly arrived migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, Ukrainian newcomers and communities affected by natural disasters, as well as his own lived experiences, to his lens and interpretation of the greater human story.

Jonathan is proficient in conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments; crafting Individual, family, and group treatment plans for those navigating mental health or relational issues, while offering support in crises by integrating clinical and holistic approaches. With warmth and compassion, Jonathan provides trauma-informed and neuro-affirmative psychotherapy in a safe space that validates your identities and experiences. With a practice rooted in anti-oppressive and holistic theories, the therapeutic environment will honour your strengths while fostering a journey towards healing, growth, and self discovery.
